We were the first wedding at Camp Hideaway’s Gruene location. It had everything I was looking for – modern farmhouse aesthetic, lodging for my out of town guests, and beautiful oak trees for our ceremony site. Ollie & the CH team were very helpful every step of the way. They were very accommodating with special additions like beer burros for cocktail hour, a gelato cart for dessert, and decor / table layout, etc.The event hall fit my almost 200 guests perfectly (we moved a few tables out of the way after dinner). There is an outdoor patio area that served well for cocktail hour & beer burros. We rented the property out for the entire weekend, so we were able to enjoy the pool the day after the wedding.The venue is a less than 10 minute drive to the town of Gruene, so it was easy for guests to go grab coffee, go to Gruene Hall and explore the day after the wedding. If you’re looking for adorable farmhouse lodging, a gorgeous event venue, and beautiful ceremony site under the oak trees, I would highly recommend you check out Camp Hideaway in Gruene.

This place is just beautiful tucked away in the woods. The property is incredibly clean and well-maintained. Our family and my wife’s sisters family all stayed and had a great time. The beds are really comfortable! Home away from home feeling.

We came for Father’s Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! All the amenities are top notch, intentional design touches and the softest, most luxuries pillows that I have to go buy for home now. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway for group gathering!

Myself and 3 girlfriends Recently stayed at Camp hideaway in Gruene Texas. This is a complex of several houses and cabins , and also a wedding venue. The Farmhouse we stayed in was beautiful . 4 large bedrooms with top notch amenities. We were on a relaxing girls trip and spent the day enjoying the pool and enjoying the serenity. The location is close enough to Uber in and out of New Braunfels and Gruene for dinner. The beds were comfortable and the house had a fire pit and hot tub. Ollie was our host who provided us with fantastic service . He did everything, anything, and went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable! 5 star Hospitality! He also was our area trip advisor, along with providing us with a wealth of information for future trips in and out of the US. THANK YOU OLLIE!

Beautiful location tucked away but just a few minutes from town. Property layout is good. The homes are laid out to maximize space. Main bathroom is large and practical. Beautifully designed. Beds are super comfortable. Property manager was accessible and helpful. Pools and hottubs were nice. Large beautiful event hall.

Camp Hideaway is remote enough that you feel like you’re getting away from it all yet close to food, shopping, and play!We stayed here with over 40 people and had plenty to do on site (pool, fire pits, hot tubs, yard games, and more).Kids and adults loved it.

We held our family reunion here and it worked great for our group of 40+ people. Construction is still being finalized (we knew this when we booked it) but you can tell that once it is done, it will be an amazing property for family reunions, weddings, and other large group gatherings.

We had our family reunion here, and we were so lucky to have found this place. They have created such a beautiful place here. It is so peaceful. It is like Joanna Gaines decorated the whole place. It was just so well designed. We thought the staff went above and beyond in helping us have a great stay. We would highly recommend this for any type of retreat or family gathering.
