Each of our upscale canvas suites features 400 square feet of air-conditioned living space built on a 1,000-square-foot wrap-around private deck. Enjoy a king-size bed with high thread count linens that will set you up for a good night’s sleep. Your private ensuite bathroom includes a shower, soaking tub, and double vanity. The living area includes a desk and two leather chairs to relax, unwind, and enjoy getting lost in conversation.

We stayed in the couple tent at Camp Hideaway Fredericksburg and loved it!! These “tents” are unlike anything we’ve stayed in before. They are so luxury with AC, running water, the most heavenly bed, and some of the best views in the hill country! We loved hanging out by the pool in the evening and watching the sunset and visiting the wineries a few minutes down the road during the day! I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to escape and enjoy something a little different!

Camp Hideaway is truly a gem! The grounds are stunning, with beautiful grass everywhere, giving the entire property a natural yet extremely well-kept look. The event space is breathtaking, featuring top-notch facilities that make any gathering a memorable experience.

The safari tents were a highlight—they were so cool and didn’t have any compromises. Unlike other glamping sites, these tents had no zipper doors, which added to the comfort. The bathrooms were great, and the AC worked perfectly, ensuring a pleasant stay regardless of the weather.

Overall, Camp Hideaway offers one of the best glamping experiences I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended!

From amazing sunrise to sunset, this incredible venue has it all.

Camp Hideaway is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of some of the best panoramic views in the Texas Hill Country. The property is a “must see”, and as you enter the gates, you realize how truly special it is.

Everything flows together on the property seamlessly. The Event Hall is visually stunning and sits adjacent to the Ranch House. as you weave your way past these two magnificent structures, you come upon a dozen Tent Suites that are amazing Luxe accommodations that give new meaning to “glamping“. Everything has been well thought out and designed to be highly functional while maintaining the feeling of natural elegance.

We stayed at the Ranch House which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The open floor plan with expansive kitchen was perfect for spending time together. The covered patio offers another living/dining area with a large grill and big screen TV. The yard is nicely fenced in with a pool, fire pit, horseshoes and putting green. We absolutely love staying at this house!

The Event Hall is stunning with super high ceilings, large windows and gorgeous chandeliers to highlight the natural beauty surrounding it. The overall aesthetic is light and airy with a sense of sophistication without being overly formal.

We enjoyed daily walks, seeing the deer pass through each evening at Sunset, and at night the stars seem to shine a little brighter at Camp Hideaway. This was a 10 out of 10 experience.
We look forward to returning.

The team at Camp Hideaway is just amazing. They were reliable, professional, and took care of any problems we had. My husband and I got married at the end of December and were worried that it would either be terribly cold and rainy or sunny. We were able to come up with a Plan A and a Plan B which was really nice. We lucked out with the weather and the reception was just gorgeous. The venue itself was stunning!!!! It was well taken care of and we had little to no issues whatsoever. The staff is on time, super friendly, and allowed us to come by a lot throughout the time we were planning to view the venue. The venue itself also has lots of unique photo opportunities. We were also able to open all the garage doors on the venue later in our reception which made the space so much bigger. I would 100% recommend this place as venue! We stayed in the ranch house which was AMAZING. A few of our guests stayed in the tents and they absolutely raved about how nice it was.

Camp Hideaway was the perfect location for our small team holiday gathering. We had a group of eleven, and the Ranch House had ample space for us to meet during the day. Our team loved the glamping tents, as they were of top-notch quality with everything thought of for amenity needs. The Camp Hideaway team were very welcoming and accommodating, as well. They made our stay seamless.

As for location, Camp Hideaway is a quick 5-10 minutes from anything you want to do in Fredericksburg. This made entertainment and meals very easy to schedule.

We love this venue and will definitely be back if we are in the area again!

We stayed as a large group of 25. We had a mix of adults and children. There were plenty of activities for the children and adults to enjoy themselves. Downtown Fredericksburg is just a short drive as well as Luckenbach. If your into wine there are dozens of vineyards close by. The property is very well maintained and the tents were absolutely beautiful! They were all decorated and made to feel like an upscale hotel. The main house is stunning and has everything you would need for a long weekend. We brought our infant and forgot our portable crib and was happy to see there was one there to use. Having the hot tub was a nice touch for a stay during the winter months. If you come during the summer there is a beautiful pool and I belive another one being built. I wish I would have found Camp Hideaway when I was planning my wedding. This would be a stunning property for a wedding! If your looking to have a girls weekend this would be the perfect spot! We can’t wait to go back in the summer and enjoy the pool!

Our family stayed at the facility last weekend with a group of friends and had such an amazing time. Overall we were extremely impressed with the location and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The tent cabins (more cabins than tents) were very luxurious with a full kitchen and bathroom. The view of the hill country from our tent cabins was spectactular, especially in the morning when we woke up. It was well-stocked and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Although it rained on our firset night and the temperature dropped down to the 30s we were comfortable throughout the night with no issues.

Finally, we used the beautiful home on the property as a base camp which was amazing as well – great place to congregate for dinner and a glass of wine. The kitchen was well stocked and has top-notch appliances. The kids had fun jumping in the pool/jacuzzi, playing cornhole and exploring the location, while the parents had dinner/wine. We finished off the night making s’mores by the campfire.

Oh, and I was able to get wifi from my tent cabin which was a huge relief when I had to put in a couple of hours of work.

Our family stayed at the Camp Hideaway Ranch House over Christmas, and we enjoyed the scenic views and quiet escape from the city. There was a full moon during the nights we stayed, and the property was picturesque with the view of the tents and stars. I cooked two out of three of our dinners on the outdoor grill, and we had plenty of space to lounge and soak in the Christmas holiday around the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. We made smores with our boys, and my dad took them fishing right on the property. The outdoor Christmas lights were a nice touch. It was a great place to spend our holiday home away from home. Looking forward to returning!

The Camp Hideaway venue and its staff were 10/10 in our books! We were married here in April 2023 with 100 friends and family in attendance, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Kelsey, Ollie, and team were super responsive and accommodating of all our requests and questions. The venue itself was beautiful, and its location was perfect for our guests. It’s close enough to Main St Fredericksburg that your guests can stay in town and be shuttled to the venue, and it’s tucked far enough off the beaten path that you’re truly experiencing the hill country views at their finest. We had some close family stay at the ranch house on the property for the weekend, and everyone loved it! We would absolutely recommend Camp Hideaway for your big day.
