Camp Hideaway is expanding its footprint beyond the historic Fredericksburg into the serene, wooded setting of yet another central Texas town storied with history and known for its food, music, river trips, shopping and ability to make you feel like every day has a little “vacation mode” naturally built into it. Welcome to Gruene, Texas.

Located just 45 miles south of downtown Austin. Camp Hideaway Gruene has been designed to fit right in to everything Gruene has to offer and then enhance it. Whether you take the family for the weekend, host an epic wedding, invite the whole family for a reunion or get your staff together for a relaxing corporate retreat, we have everything you need to make an impactful, one-of-a-kind restorative experience in this epic home-away-from-home.

We’ve put a lot of thought into our property and it’s layout to be both convenient to get around but give you a sense of space and privacy and to be “away from it all”. Check out the lodging we have in store:

The Main House

4 rooms, 5 beds, 2.5 bath, full kitchen, and private porch; sleeps 10

The Historic Cabin

1 king bedroom plus 1 twin loft, full bath and kitchenette; sleeps 4

The Pharmacy

1 king bed, 1 set of built in queen bunk beds, 2 full baths, and kitchen; sleeps 6

Farmhouses #1-5

Each has 2 king bedrooms and 1 bunk room with 4 queen built-in bunk beds, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, covered deck, fire pit, grill, and heated plunge pool; each sleeps 12

Tiny Home

Single Nook ROAM Tiny Home 1 Full bed and 1 Twin bunk room with 1 full bathroom, tiny home-style kitchen, outdoor deck, fire pit, grill; sleeps 2-3
