CAMP HIDEAWAY FAQ
COVID-19 RESPONSE
How is Camp Hideaway addressing the COVID-19 pandemic?
Camp Hideaway takes standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and we are taking steps to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. Our team has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statements regarding COVID-19. We are also working diligently to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on social distancing, hygiene, and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19, and include contactless check-in and check-out, handwashing hygiene and cleaning protocols for our rooms, common areas and event spaces.
Below are details on the specific steps we are taking to ensure safety:
Check-In: We have a simple, contactless check-in process. When you book a room at Camp Hideaway, we text you all of the information you need to check in to your room without the need to visit our on-site office in person.
Check-Out: Our check-out process is a breeze. Simply place your room key back in the lockbox located next to the entry door of your room. It’s that simple.
Handwashing Hygiene: We understand that proper and frequent handwashing by our staff is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.
Symptom Monitoring: We are actively monitoring our entire staff for the common symptoms of COVID-19 to ensure their own health and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Ongoing Training: We train our housekeeping and office staff on hygiene protocols to ensure they meet the guidelines set out by the CDC.
Cleaning: Our cleaning protocols include cleaning products and measures which are effective against viruses for the following spaces:
Common & Event Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of our Bath House, Event Center and Airstream Office with a focus on frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, handles, light switches, countertops, faucets, toilets, and sinks.
